TWL-KOM GmbH · Ludwigshafen am Rhein · Regional Germany · Germany

Design resilience tier

Redundancy (as published)
The power supply of Datacenter II is realised via a multi-stage redundant 2*(N+1) concept. Within Datacenter II, TWL-KOM operates a separate UPS for each computer room, also designed in 2*(N+1) redundancy. (Newsroom 03.11.2022) A redundant power supply for each server room is integrated via two power paths per UPS on the 2N+1 principle. The chillers work on the 2N+1 principle and are thus fully redundant. (Newsroom 23.06.2026) Redundant power supply and air conditioning for the highest resilience of the systems. (Location page /datacenter) Certified with the highest availability class VK 4, following TIER IV.
Security
Camera 24/7 + guard response / patrol
Density (as published)
Standard capacity of up to 6 kW per rack with expansion options. 47 rack units and a depth of 1.200 mm. Two separate power circuits per rack for maximum resilience. (Newsroom 23.06.2026) We already supply computer systems with loads of around 50 kW per rack. The new installations allow us to increase power densities further. (Newsroom 29.01.2025)
Cooling
Indirect evaporative, Direct-to-chip
