Who is behind ColoCompass
ColoCompass was founded by Marco Hoogendijk, an independent datacenter adviser based in the Netherlands (MH Nexus). Helping organisations find the right colocation capacity, he kept missing one thing: an independent platform where datacenters can be compared on current, verified facts — and where requesting proposals is simple and fast, instead of weeks of calls, brochures and scattered PDFs.
So he built one — at first purely as a tool for his own advisory work. It quickly became clear that requesters and operators were missing exactly the same thing, and the internal tool grew into ColoCompass: a neutral catalog where the ranking is never for sale and operators are rewarded only for complete and verified data. Every request follows one transparent route: independent guidance when you want it, a direct line to the operator when you don’t.
