ColoCompass is an independent discovery platform for datacenter capacity. It exists because the market lacked a place where you can compare locations on confirmed data, and where operators are found for the quality of their facilities and their data.
Facts over marketing
Every location is compared on the same facts: power, density, cooling, certifications and availability. Not on marketing claims.
Results based on your requirements
Operators cannot buy their position. The location that best fits your needs is always at the top, and Verified does not affect the order.
Freshness you can check
Operators confirm their own data, and every confirmation carries a date. The Verified badge expires when the data has not been confirmed for six months.
How the platform sustains itself
Operators claim their listing at no cost. A Verified subscription adds the badge, a richer profile and direct inquiries; it never buys a higher position in the results. Every inquiry follows one route: directly to the operator, or through independent guidance. That separation is deliberate, and it is what keeps the comparison neutral.
How we treat the data on the platform
Operator data is isolated per operator at the database level, and the public catalog only ever shows listing data. The platform runs in the EU without analytics or advertising trackers; visitors who are not signed in receive no cookies. The full list of guarantees is on the operators page.
Who is behind ColoCompass
ColoCompass was founded by Marco Hoogendijk, an independent datacenter adviser based in the Netherlands (MH Nexus). Helping organisations find the right colocation capacity, he kept missing one thing: an independent platform where datacenters can be compared on current, confirmed facts, and where requesting proposals is simple and fast instead of weeks of calls, brochures and scattered PDFs.
So he built one, at first purely as a tool for his own advisory work. It quickly became clear that requesters and operators were missing exactly the same thing, and the internal tool grew into ColoCompass: an independent catalog where results are based on your requirements and operators cannot buy their position. Every inquiry follows one route: independent guidance when you want it, a direct line to the operator when you do not.
