- Multiply redundant internet connections and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) secure your data access and power needs. Power is supplied via a redundant connection to the medium-voltage grid of REWAG and offers a secure power supply. Separate UPS systems (uninterruptible power supply) are available for secure operation. A redundantly built power supply guarantees a secure supply of the data centres. The customer racks are located in two IT rooms separated for fire protection. These are equipped with redundant power connections (PDUs) and offer a UPS-protected power supply. The distribution of our data centres over 3 sites also guarantees the highest resilience and redundancy. Service description Datacenter Ostbayern (Dlbs041-08, valid from 01.08.2023): the R-KOM data centres offer in redundant configuration: air-conditioned rooms, uninterruptible power supply with standby power plant, very early fire detection and fire extinguishing system and connection to the public internet. The R-KOM data centres are equipped with redundant air conditioning, redundant UPS systems, standby power plant, where applicable raised floor, fire alarm system, where applicable fire extinguishing system and video surveillance. The data centres are equipped with two separate, redundant medium-voltage connections. The power feeds are secured by separate UPS systems and a shared standby power plant (diesel generator set) for RZ 1 and RZ2.
